Located in the wide plains of the central south island, the township of Temuka has been the home of Temuka Pottery since 1930. This is a fitting location, as Temuka derives from the Maori "Te umu kaha", translated as "The fierce oven", which could describe the heart of our kilns.

 

From modest beginnings, Temuka Pottery has become an iconic and trusted New Zealand brand. Temuka durability and quality, combine with exciting and fashionable colours to give your table flair and individuality. Our ceramic cookware is designed to be taken from the oven to your table to complete the setting.

 

As a present, or for yourself you can choose Temuka Pottery in the knowledge that it is lead and cadmium free, and safe to use in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.
